As the construction industry faces a shortage of qualified labor, many construction companies are struggling to find skilled workers. Further, their hiring processes often are outdated, manual, and inconsistent.
To help overcome that hurdle, Computer Guidance Corp., www.computerguidance.com, Scottsdale, Ariz., a developer of ERP (enterprise resource planning) software solutions for the construction industry, is partnering with BirdDog, www.birddoghr.com, Urbandale, Iowa, to provide customers a tighter product integration between its eCMS Construction ERP platform and BirdDog’s recruitment and applicant tracking solutions.
The integration will enable commercial contractors to automate human resource-related business processes from job posting, recruiting, and hiring to employee, HR, and benefits management.
The two organizations will establish automated realtime integration of data exchanges and business workflows among the applicable software applications to offer additional functionality to their mutual clients. Additionally, the partnership will enable commercial contractors to improve the acquisition and onboarding of their employees while also placing emphasis on employee retention and overall human resources management.
“We are pleased to partner with BirdDog in our pursuit to help our mutual customers attract and recruit talent,” says Mike Bihlmeier, president, Computer Guidance Corp. “This collaboration is another example of our continued commitment to the construction industry and our customers, allowing them to grow and prosper as they utilize our construction solutions.”
“Organizations find it increasingly challenging to identify and hire top talent especially in today’s labor shortage construction market,” says Todd Skokan, president and CEO, BirdDog. “The new integration with Computer Guidance’s ERP strengthens the entire human resources process from job application and recruiting to retention and administration.”
