Education for Construction
For years, Autodesk has offered training and education on its technology for students, instructors, and academic institutions worldwide—which has helped make it a leader in the space by getting the software in front of the next generation of construction workers.
In fact, the company says more than 680 million students and educators from 800,000 secondary and postsecondary schools in 188 countries are able to take advantage of free access to Autodesk’s software and services in classrooms.
Also, Autodesk has gradually expanded free access to its design software to academic institutions across Asia Pacific and Europe. Further, the company is helping schools move to the cloud by providing academic institutions with its full suite of next-generation cloud-based design products, cloud services, along with maintenance subscriptions for free.
This is one way Autodesk continues to be a mainstay in the construction. It identified a way to make its product ubiquitous across the country—by putting it in the hands of up and coming construction workers.
