A new channel partner partnership is giving occupational road safety training a boost with a goal of improving worker safety and efficiency on public roadways.

AlertDriving, www.alertdriving.com, Toronto, a Web-based driver risk management solution, has added CSTC (California Safety Training Corp.), www.cstcsafety.com, Bakersfield, Calif., to its Global Partner Program.

A consultant and provider of occupational risk management tools throughout California and the continental United States, CSTC provides interactive training in various safety processes throughout a range of industries – including construction, agriculture, oil and manufacturing, medical, and restaurants.

“Transportation incidents account for approximately 30% of worker deaths in California,” cites Rob Martin, vice president of sales at AlertDriving. “Our assessment-based training and risk monitoring tools will support California Safety Training Corp.’s efforts to tackle this troubling statistic and reduce occupational risk on the roads.”

AlertDriving focuses on helping global fleets identify, mitigate and monitor their risk exposure. FleetDefense, the company’s driver risk management suite, combines training in more than 100 languages with built-in metrics, giving fleets standardized risk reporting anywhere in the world.

CSTC addresses safety in workplaces across America through an instructional delivery method combining interactive, written and in-class training services. Its system of topic delivery allows employees to earn Cross Compliance Training Credits where local, state and federal agency requirements overlap.
