Fresh Design and Constructech 50
Each year the July/Aug issue of Constructech magazine is a must-read for our subscribers, as it contains our picks for the Constructech 50, which is the listing of the most influential software providers in the construction market. This year there is another reason to carefully comb through the pages of this issue—a completely new design.
With this issue, we are excited to present to you the fresh face of Constructech, with new sections, easier-to-read designs, and additional content designed specifically with you—our readers—in mind. Much like the time-consuming process the editors take each year researching, interviewing customers, and ultimately determining the best candidates to make the Constructech 50, during this time the design team was also meticulously working to come up with the best new designs.
The outcome is an issue bursting with content. Take a look specifically at the new section The Construction Report. This department was a collaborative effort between the editors and a design team to create an area of the magazine where readers can very quickly digest some of the latest news.
Also, don’t miss this year’s Constructech 50, with a new design and a revamped list for 2014. Each year, the editors come together to discuss every company on the list and evaluate the hundreds of companies that have the potential to join the group. This process takes months of internal meetings, research, client interviews, and collaboration with our board and industry experts. We invite you to read more about these companies.
We also encourage you to take some time to flip through this issue and take a look at the new design and content. We focused on the font, the structure of content, while maintaining the overall voice of the magazine. By the time we were done with this reboot—we should mention it’s been more than seven years since our last redesign—what we believe we have created is a cleaner design that is not about fonts and colors, but is chock-full with amazing technology information in an easy-to-read format.
With an issue as big as the Constructech 50, there was no better time to introduce a new design. Happy Reading!
