Plumbing and Heating Company Implements FieldConnect
Before using FieldConnect, www.fieldconnect.com, Irvine, Calif., Sheren Plumbing & Heating, www.sherenplumpingheating.com, Traverse City, Mich., used another mobile field service tool for its technicians, but the tool didn’t integrate with the company’s backoffice accounting software, making billing and time keeping a manual process.
According to Jason Borchert, vice president, Sheren, there was a gap between the old mobile product and its accounting software. The gap complicated its invoicing process, as it wanted a seamless connection between the backoffice and field technicians and ultimately found FieldConnect and Vista by Viewpoint.

By connecting directly to Vista by Viewpoint, FieldAccess integrates all service stakeholders for Sheren—backoffice, dispatchers, technicians, and customers—with the same information at the same time.
