A new software aims to help companies with field personnel beat out competitors in bidding work—by enabling them to respond to bid requests on the double through an integrated mobile application.

FieldConnect, www.fieldconnect.com, Irvine, Calif., a mobile workforce solutions enterprise, announces the release of its FieldQuotes module for field service organizations running Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (Sage CRE, formerly Timberline). FieldQuotes is a mobile quoting solution fully integrated with Sage CRE.

This means mobile workers use FieldQuotes to pull information in realtime from rate sheets, inventory lists, and contract pricing maintained in Sage CRE. Companies that equip their field technicians with FieldQuotes are able to close new and add-on business while face-to-face with the customer.
