To assist construction executives and schedulers with monitoring and reviewing of construction projects, Aegis Project Controls,, Silver Spring, Md., has created two new technology products—Aegis Analytics and Rubix—now available widely.

Aegis Analytics is a cloud-based dashboard that tracks the realtime status of multiple projects by connecting to live Primavera schedule databases. Rubix is a “three-pronged” tool that will compare schedules, assess their health, and check for compliance.

“Our new technology products grew out of our project controls work,” relates Aegis Project Controls President David Hatwell. “We recognized a need for products that could help both construction executives and schedulers quickly and efficiently review the progress of multiple construction projects.”

These two new products join Aegis Project Controls’ current product, Aegis Cloud, to create a suite of technology products that ease the process of scheduling and managing large construction projects.  Aegis Cloud is a data center for application cloud solutions designed to simplify the use of Primavera project-management software.

“Aegis Analytics improves executive management of multiple projects by allowing quick review of all projects in one place, and it quickly identifies projects that need attention,” remarks Hatwell. “Its realtime, online dashboard ties directly into project schedules to give executives valuable metrics on the health of many projects at one time.”

Aegis Project Controls provides CPM scheduling, cost, and risk management to commercial construction projects, and is an Oracle gold partner, which allows the company to provide access to Primavera.
