In a tandem effort to showcase homebuilder technology applications, SBS Group, www.sbsgroupusa.com, Edison, N.J., and MiTek, www.mitek-us.com, Chesterfield, Mo., will team up at this year’s IBS (International Builders’ Show), www.buildersshow.com/Home, in Las Vegas, to demonstrate their Sapphire Build and Microsoft Dynamics software solutions for the homebuilding industry.

IBS is presented by the NAHB (National Assn. of Homebuilders), www.nahb.org, Washington, D.C., and will be held Jan. 20-22, 2015 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. According to NAHB, the IBS is the largest annual light construction show in the world. This year, IBS and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show will again co-locate to create Design and Construction Week, which is expected to draw more than 75,000 specifiers, builders, dealers and suppliers.

“Our ongoing partnership with MiTek,” remarks SBS Group President and Chief Executive Officer, James Bowman, “strengthens our depth and expertise in the residential home builder market and our mutual ability to bring valuable technology solutions to the market.”

The Sapphire Build/Dynamics SL solution is an integrated operational and financial management system for residential homebuilders, and which provides full collaboration among builders and their trade partners, homebuyers, and the field. Sapphire Build from MiTek, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a suite of business and workflow management software tools for production home builders.

A Microsoft Gold Partner, www.microsoft.com, Redmond, Wash., and technology consulting firm, SBS Group has been working with Sapphire Build since 2008 and has built a national network of clients who build in excess of 10,000 homes per year. Its client, American West Development, www.americanwesthomes.com, Las Vegas, will be on hand to present details of their implementation of Microsoft Dynamics SL and the business benefits the company has seen.

SBS Group, which offers companies individualized business technology solutions and best practices, will also be announcing a new capital leasing program designed for builders, and which the company explains will allow the total cost of ownership to be spread over time, minimizing up-front investment.
