Procore Technologies, www.procore.com, Carpinteria, Calif., a provider of cloud-based construction software, has integrated with construction accounting software Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate, www.na.sage.com, Irvine, Calif.

The integration eliminates the need to manually enter data into multiple systems and gives teams the power to accurately forecast and monitor project health from the field.

This connector combines the construction accounting software applications with Procore’s extensive suite of project management tools. Procore helps construction professionals increase project efficiency and accountability by streamlining communication and centralizing documentation in order to minimize risk and delays––ultimately boosting profits.

“The number one request from Procore customers was to align project management and accounting with a seamless integration. Procore’s clients need access to financial data, regardless of their physical location,” says Steve Zahm, president, Procore. “The one missing piece was accounting. Now that we have the connector, accounting is completely on board with Procore as an all-inclusive project-management platform.”

Prior to this integration, subcontracts, purchase orders, and commitments managed in Procore had to be manually duplicated in the Sage 300 CRE accounting package. This dual entry is no longer necessary, and the potential for errors has been eliminated.

Accurate cost data automatically fed into Procore’s cost-management tools gives project managers control over project budgets, allowing them to accurately forecast project costs, and provides them with better insight to the financial impact of a project.
