Friday 12th June, 2015: Sage today announces the first of its new Customer Business Centers (CBCs) to revolutionize the way it supports customers around the world. As well as becoming Sage’s North American headquarters, the CBC in Atlanta, Georgia will establish a new benchmark for customer support and service, as Sage reimagines its relationship with businesses across the US and Canada.

This is the first step in a journey to building deeper, life-long relationships with customers globally. Sage’s new CBCs in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, will house all teams involved in marketing, lead qualifications, sales, service and renewals in one place, with a combined focus on providing outstanding service to Sage’s customers. Working on the Salesforce1 platform, the teams will collaborate to make sure that customers have a fantastic experience from sale to satisfaction, along every step of the way.

The CBCs will allow the technology giant to act as ‘One Sage.’ Operating without siloes, teams will be able to collaborate to serve customers quickly and effectively. Initially, the new CBCs will support customers of Sage Life, with other products added at a later date.

Announced today, the first CBC will open in the company’s current facility in Lawrenceville, GA in late July, then move to the new Midtown Atlanta location in October.

A second CBC will open in Dublin later this year to serve the European market. The opening of further CBCs are planned around the world in 2016 to offer Sage customers the same outstanding service, wherever they are.

Alan Laing, EVP Global Strategic Partnerships & Alliances, and leader of the CBC project, said: “This is about bringing a whole new philosophy to the way we support customers so we can build relationships for life. It also shows how far we are going to reimagine the entire Sage experience. With products like Sage Life set to revolutionize the way that businesses work, we knew we needed to rethink the relationships we have with our customers. The CBCs will change everything, giving customers the support they need, every step of the way.”

Recruitment has already started for positions in Atlanta and will kick off soon in Ireland. There will also be further career development opportunities for colleagues as the CBCs grow to accommodate more and more customers, and as Sage adds to the number of products serviced by the CBCs.
